Stick water is an often overlooked product derived from the rendering process and is often disposed of or cycled back through the system without capturing its full potential.
Ensuring minimal waste and efficient use of raw materials throughout its processing can aid in improving the environmental impact of our food systems. Implementation of post-production processing could potentially increase the value and nutritional benefits of stick water products and reduce the environmental impact of the feed for aquaculture.
