His research interests span protein, lipid and carbohydrate nutrition, placing a particular focus on sustainable aquafeed development, nutritional biomarkers of organism health, and the establishment of new aquaculture species.
David’s contributions to aquaculture have been recognised by way of international awards and fellowships, where his work has ultimately assisted in the sustainable expansion of the aquaculture industry towards the production of fish and seafood for a growing global population.
