Jessica Conlan is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the School of Life and Environmental Sciences at Deakin University.

Jessica’s background in aquatic animal nutrition spans numerous life-stages and species including corals, rock lobsters, sea urchins, sea stars, shellfish and finfish. In particular, Jessica’s work has facilitated the development of optimised diets for new aquaculture species by investigating their dietary lipid requirement, including lipid classes and fatty acids.

Jessica has published numerous research articles in this field, and her commitment to aquatic science has been recognised through awards from both Deakin University and industry stakeholders.
